It's that time of the year again!

If you live in South Australia, we need your help to pack 65,000 Baby, Toddler and Preschool Reading Bags that will be given out FREE to SA families as part of The Little Big Book Club's Reading Pack program.

 

Registrations are currently open for INDIVIDUALS

Registration Types: 

There are 3 different registration types. To determine yours, please see the overview below: 

1. Individual- You will attend packing on your own  

2. Organisation- You are registering on behalf of group of volunteers who work for an organisation 

3. Family & Friends- You are registering on behalf of family and friends who are volunteering as a group

What does being a volunteer involve? 

- Collating books and flyers  

- Packing bags with books and flyers  

- Placing the bags into boxes and sealing them up 

 

When and where will the packing take place? 

- Tuesday 20 November - Saturday 24 November 

- Adelaide Showgrounds, Stirling Angas Pavilion, Goodwood Rd Wayville 

 

Other useful information 

- Refreshments are provided for all volunteers. If you could bring your own refillable drink bottle that would be appreciated.

- Comfortable clothing and closed in shoes is a requirement 

- Volunteer shifts are a 2 hour minimum and we recommend a maximum of two shifts per day. 

- No heavy lifting is required, staff will be available to help 

- Volunteer certificates are available 

- Volunteers must be aged between 15-80 years   

 

Parking is available, entry via Rose Tce:
First half hour .........................................................Free

Over 2 hours ........................................................ $10.00
 
Additional street paking is available (time limits vary) on the Eastern side of Goodwood Road, alternatively the Adelaide Showground Train Station is a short walk or the Tram Stop 3 Goodwood Road.
