Toddler Reading Pack

All families living in South Australia with a child aged 18 months+ are eligible to collect a FREE Toddler Reading Pack. The pack is designed to encourage parents to read, play, talk and sing with their toddler every day to support their emerging literacy and numeracy skills.

Supporting services across SA have been provided with the Toddler Reading Pack to give to families.

  • Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS) clinics statewide
  • Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) Children's Centres
  • DECD supported playgroups
  • Selected outreach services
  • Occasional and rural care programs

The 2021 Toddler Reading Pack includes:

  • Busy Little Creatures  - discover a world of busy little creatures and rare words in this fun new book for toddlers
  • Wilbur, Grace and Joe- an award winning picture book that celebrates family.
  • The Hip Hop Barn - A rollicking story that follows cheeky farmyard animals and their antics when the farmer goes to bed.
  • Busy Little Creatures Activity Book - an accompanying activity book to Busy Liottle Craetures, full of tips, activities and fun facts
