The Children Who Loved Books
Angus and Lucy are brother and sister. They live with their mum and dad in a caravan..they don't have much but what they do have is lots of books!
But one day all of their books are taken away and then everything in the family changes. There is more space in their home but also more space between them all.
Until one afternoon a library book tumbles from Lucy's schoolbag. They pick it up and dad starts reading to them all. Suddenly the distance between the family disappears and they are close and huddled together. And as night falls, their small home is the brightest in the whole street.
The family wake up in the morning bleary eyed but extremely happy. And where do you think they went that day?
To the library of course!
A warm and moving celebration of books and the way in which they bring us all together.
