This beautifully illustrated counting book celebrates some of the animals, events, artists and foods that make Australia great.

Think blue wrens, bower birds, potoroos and kelpies. Then imagine dot paintings, victorian terraces, and fireworks on Sydney Harbour. These are just some of the gorgeous images you can see and count in this playful book.

The book can help children and adults appreciate Australia's wonderful culture and the simple things that make it so special to us all.

Elizabeth Honey's illustrations were made by cutting the designs out of plastic paper with a scalpel and creating a stencil. Different colours were applied by dabbing acrylic paint with a sponge and then the stencil was lifted to reveal a stunning picture underneath.
