Sing a Song of Sixpence: Making Music Matter
Join us for a specialised, fun and interactive workshop that explores the power and importance of integrating quality music and singing into your everyday program with children. No previous training in music or singing is required to attend.
Build your skills, specialised knowledge and confidence to deliver valuable music opportunities for children and families. Learn to use music as a tool to deepen learning and community connections.
The workshop will consist of theoretical and practical components and will include an example program and participatory demonstration of a music-embedded group session.
‘Music belongs in and for the community, not as an exclusive or elitist activity for only the lucky few. Everyone can sing – we all have music ability that needs to be nurtured.’
