On Sunday 24 May, some of SA's most acclaimed authors will read their much-loved books to littlies in the Little Tent of Stories on the Festival Centre's River Deck. The event is being run by The Little Big Book Club, a reading development initiative of Raising Literacy Australia, as part of the Come Out Children's Festival's Big Family Weekend.

One of those authors will be Katrina Germein, known for her bestsellers Big Rain Coming and My Dad Thinks He's Funny.

"This will be a great opportunity for families to bring their children, enjoy stories and just have fun"  - Katrina Germein

Other special guests include Mem Fox, Mike Dumbleton and Claire Richards. The event commences at 10am and will run until 3pm. Bookings for the story telling sessions and illustrator workshop will be taken on the day, so get there early!
