Fun stuff

Reading books aloud to children is fantastic both from a bonding perspective and assisting children to develop their vocabulary and the skills necessary to learn to read and write. Songs and nursery rhymes, puppets and craft activities are also important... They all help your young child to understand what language is all about, develop new skills, provide an opportunity to talk to your child and most importantly, have fun.

From the side bar, you are able to enter The Vegemite Little Aussie Reader area that contains a number of resources for parents, child care centres, public libraries and anyone interested in early childhood literacy and language development.

You may also choose from the age appropriate activity areas that includes template based craft activities based on our monthly selections.
